COMFORT ZONE

Dan’s debut musical release was his EP Comfort Zone, consisting of six self-penned reflections on life which were independently recorded and produced in 2007 by James North Productions.

Having grown up in rural North Queensland before relocating south to the state capital of Brisbane, this acoustic folk/rock collection looks upon lessons learnt during his country-to-city transition in his early 20’s.

From the harrowing story of I Don’t Smoke thanks to a chance encounter on inner-city streets, through to a missed opportunity for love as told in More Than I Can Handle and onto the coming-of-age title track, Comfort Zone paved the way for Dan’s ongoing musical journey and future worldly travels.

About Dan

Acoustic storyteller Dan Schaumann returns with his latest musical release, I Wish I Lived In Canada, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Having cut his musical teeth on the sidewalks and bars of Townsville and Brisbane, Dan followed his heart to the UK and later to Canada where he’s resided since 2013.

From lost love to found feet, toppled dreams to open doors, Dan’s attitude to life is as infectious as the songs he draws from it. His artistic creations speak of an extraordinary journey into the experiences of a contemporary traveler.
