About Me
Here’s a very brief life story for those who may be interested!
I was born in Adelaide.
I grew up on a 20 acre property in a small town called Bluewater, just north of Townsville.
I started playing guitar in primary school.
(I believe Achy Breaky Heart was the first song I ever learnt)
I graduated from uni in 2005 with a Bachelor of Theatre (majoring in technical production)
I moved to Brisbane where I played in a covers duo called Mayhem for almost three years.
I recorded an EP called Comfort Zone in 2007 and started playing solo.
During this time I fell for a girl I met online so I moved over to England to be with her.
It didn’t work out.
But I ended up in London where I found the most awesome job with an organic food company, met the most amazing people, saw the most incredible places, drank the most flavoursome beer, and just generally had the best fucking time of my life.
After 15 months my working holiday visa expired so I had to come back home to Australia.
I’m currently in Sydney and preparing to record an album at the end of the year with all the songs I wrote while I was away travelling.
And that’s about it!
